2018–2021

Initial experiments on the electrochemical activity of biopolymers were conducted at the G.V. Kurdyumov Institute of Metal Physics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).

2021–2022

Advanced experiments in Tbilisi, Georgia focused on optimizing the phase composition and structural stability of biopolymers at Ilia Vekua Sokhumi Institute of Physics and Technology and Georgian Technical University.

2023–2024

Validation of previous results and structural analysis of biopolymers were conducted at San Diego State University (SDSU), CA, USA including laboratory-scale battery testing.

2024

TRL4 validation of biopolymer-based lithium batteries at Avesta Battery and Energy Engineering (ABEE), Ninove, Belgium.

2025

US Patent was obtained: US 12,512,474 B2 (published December 30, 2025)

2026

Optimization of primary batteries and development of secondary (rechargeable) batteries, targeting TRL6 prototype stage.

2027

Construction of biopolymer and cathode production facility and scaling up production for commercial applications.
